I have a fun post in the works right now, but it's going to take me a while to write, so check back throughout the next few weeks to see that. But right now, I have some changes to GimStream to tell you about...
GimStream in 2025
Due to WHEEL, the former co-author of GimStream retiring from writing here, I've removed his bio from this site's homepage. The posts he wrote, however, can still be found by scrolling down on the blog page (here).
In addition, with my next semester starting soon, and with Gimkit inevitably having plenty of new things in the works for me to talk about, I'm going to have even more time to write posts! 😎
Also, the Gimkit Awards seem to be renewed for 2025, so I'm hoping to cover that if I have time. In case you don't know what that is, here's a quick summary:
Last year, Team Gimkit approved an idea by Blackhole927 (o7), Unstable, and a few other famous Gimkitters on the Gimkit Discord that I can't remember the names of. The idea was for an awards program across all of Gimkit's platforms that celebrates the creativity of the online community Josh's games have inspired. 🏆
The awards last year were a huge success, with many amazing games being recognized, so due to what has been said here and how well the event did in their 2025 premier, I'm assuming they'll be back for an encore, which I'm excited to see.
Escape Room Sequel
In more exciting news, my most popular game ever, Escape Room (from back when I went by the name Gimlord16, which feels like a long time ago), will be receiving a second level soon. The level will build some lore onto my most popular world, along with setting up an interconnecting story for several of my other games.
This was what WHEEL was apparently hinting at here, though I'm obviously releasing this announcement behind schedule. 😅
