This just in! 40 days after the release of my hit game Shadow Quest, which you can play here, I've been informed that a skilled group of Gimkitters has been playing my game for that whole time and has accomplished what I thought [g]impossible: they set records in my game that are under 5 minutes! 😲
Two of the best Gimkitters in that group, Carmine and Capri, have agreed to be a part of this unique #Kitdown2025 post...
About the Record Setters
After finding out about these amazing high scores, I reached out to these Gimkitters to find out why they poured so much time and effort into beating my game, and what they thought of it. This is what they had to say:
"It was easy."
-Carmine
"Uhh, I just wanted to beat the game so badly, and because I'm awesome."
-Capri
DISCLAIMER: The game is not easy for Novice Gimkitters.
Gimpossible High Scores
Here are the amazing high scores these two achieved:
<-- She set a very fast time, lol.
As you can see, this is already a very fast time in Shadow Quest, and if you've ever played it here, you can tell that's not an easy time to reach - but that's not even the fastest time! 🙀
I am proud to present the world record in Shadow Quest (to the best of my knowledge anyways), as held by Carmine:
<-- WOW!!
My Challenge to YOU
I've also been informed that another Gimkitter who will remain anonymous for now is finding and mastering skip jumps in-game that I didn't even know existed, which could allow him to shave time off the world record. 😎
If this works out, he might be able to set a brand new fastest win time! Do you think YOU can set a new fastest time before him? If so, good luck! 😁
